Responsibilities of the Team Manager
Communication
Ensure at least one representative from your teams management attends club meetings.
Liaise with the club’s Management Committee on all matters concerning your team

Advise the Club Secretary of any child that has special needs, such as asthma, glasses, etc
Liaise with the parents, players and coaches of your team.
- Ensure all parents are aware of the next game time and venue and that they must be at the venue, at least, 30 minutes before kickoff.
- Advise team if a game is cancelled or has a change of venue/time.
- Highlight upcoming club events and fundraising and co-ordinate the team for these activities.
- Ensure the club newsletter is distributed to all team parents.
- Co-ordinate team parents when rostered for canteen and ground preparation duties.
At season’s end write a report for the annual report and submit to the secretary.
Equipment
Ensure the First Aid Kit is complete and available at all training sessions and games.
Ensure the water sprayer bottle is working and available at all training and games.
Game Day
Ensure that all players are correctly registered with the club and NSWCFA.
- Unregistered players cannot commence training or games.
Ensure that you all know how to erect and dismantle the mini goal posts / junior goal nets.
- Dress field at Daniel St (if your team is playing the first game of the day)
- Undress field at Daniel St (if your team is playing the last game of the day) and store equipment
- Organise referee if no official referee is present
- Organise linesman (1 parent from each team to run a sideline)
Ensure that all players receive the Player of the Match at least once.
Complete the Referee’s Match Report Card accurately (in non-soluble ink). Verify the ID and ages of the opposition players and sign the card when satisfied that the players are registered with the NSWCFA and are in the correct team/age group.
Ensure that a team match report is completed for each game and sent to the Newsletter Editor by Monday afternoon, following the match, for inclusion in the next newsletter.

Ensure all players get equal mention and encouragement.
- Include score, opposition, location, players who scored the goals, players who played well, how the overall match went
